Position Overview: The Reach Forklift Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a reach forklift for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting merchandise. The operator is accountable for ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a reach forklift to transport materials within the warehouse.

• Load and unload goods from trucks or other storage areas.

• Accurately pick orders according to shipping orders or requisitions.

• Ensure correct labeling of goods and proper storage locations.

• Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment ensuring it’s in good working condition.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.

• Adhere strictly to safety regulations set forth by the company policies.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work 11am to 7:30pm

• Valid reach forklift certification/license is mandatory.

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience operating a reach forklift in a warehouse setting preferred.

• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy machinery operation.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unaided on occasion as needed during shifts.
